Palm Sunday

Palm Sunday is the sixth and last Sunday of Lent, it also marks the beginning of Holy Week.

On Palm Sunday, we celebrate the first joy of the season, as we celebrate Our Lord's triumphant entrance into Jerusalem where he was welcomed by crowds worshiping him and laying down palm leaves before him. Traditionally Palm Sunday Mass begins with the "blessing of the palms," where the palms used in the procession that follows are blessed.


In 2016, Palm Sunday is on March 20. We will be following our regular mass schedule.
